Grimm...

Every time someone on Grimm opens their mouth and starts talking in German my brain starts to hurt.

How is it possible for almost every one of these actors to sound like a poor German guy who’s been kicked three times in the mouth and then, at gunpoint, forced to speak German?

Is it really that difficult to find someone that could correct their pronunciation? The way they keep pronouncing V wrong just makes me so cranky!

Stop mangling a beautiful language!

I used to have a dreamwidth account but then didn't really use it and deleted it.

But I've wanted a backup of my LJ account and so I present to you http://devo79fanfic.dreamwidth.org/

It's just going to be the same as on my LJ account. Nothing more than a backup. Still, thought you guy should know.

As part of my 101 in 1001 days challenge I'm not allowed to read fanfics for a month. It suddenly becomes so very clear how much I actually read and how I use it as a reward and to relieve stress.

The 15th of July is so far far away.

And I keep getting updates from AO3 about people posting in WIP's I'm following.

Oh, the pain!!!

So I've decided to do a new 101 things in 1001 days challenge. This time I'll be adding goals as I go along instead of just filling the list with random unimportant stuff in order to reach 101 things from the start.

The list )

So I'm on the internets buying some books when I notice what the site is recommending to me.

I've been filling my cart with gardening books and the site is recommending a bunch of crime novels.

Really? Crime novels?

What about my 4 gardening books made you think I'd want a crime novel?

This reminds me of that time when every time I logged in on Facebook it threw an ad at me asking "Do you want bigger breasts?"

No, Facebook.

Not really.

I think an E cup is large enough, thank you very much!

So, quite a long time ago I quit the 101 things in 1001 days challenge.

I'm still happy I started it, because it did kick-start a lot of really great things for me. But a lot of the goals were meaningless and more filler than things I actually wanted/needed to achieve.

So would I recommend the challenge to others?

Yes, I certainly would!

Will I do the challenge again?

Probably not. I got what I needed out of it.

I was supposed to read the last Harry Potter book...
But I must admit that...um...that's not going to happen.
Why?
Well, because...honestly I don't really give a fuck about Harry Potter.
I've read the rest of them. Mostly because I want to know what the kids were reading but...there are limits.

This is mine.

So, bye bye Harry.

I need to come up with 25 silly things to do.
They'll be part of my 101 things in 1001 days and could be anything.

Give me your best funniest ideas.

I've already decided that I will wear a fake mustache to work and keep it on all day there.
So that's one.

Give me 24 more.

Also I will document it by taking pictures.

Just drank vegetable juice as part of my 101 things in 1001 days.

I just barely managed not to throw up.

That is the most nasty thing I have ever tasted. Even worse than peanut butter *shivers*
